The core business is drugs for high blood pressure in the pulmonary artery, a rare and severe condition. The company offers several forms of one class of compound: tablets, inhalation, continuous subcutaneous infusion — the choice depends on the stage. That is steady revenue over a treatment course lasting years.
The second part sounds like science fiction and is nonetheless real: raising pigs with edited genomes whose kidneys and hearts are not rejected by the human body. The first transplants have already been performed. If the line succeeds it changes the company's scale radically; if not, years of investment are written off. The company pays no dividend.
