Cumulative voting
A method of electing the board in which votes are multiplied by the number of seats and may all be cast for a single candidate.
How to read the number
It allows minority holders to seat a representative: concentrating votes on one name works where spreading them across every seat does not.
When the metric lies
The advantage exists only with turnout and coordination. Scattered holders backing different candidates lose it entirely.
