Lombard list
The list of securities the central bank accepts as collateral in its own operations.
How to read the number
Inclusion raises demand for an issue: a bank can raise money from the regulator against such paper and therefore holds it more willingly.
When the metric lies
The list is revised, and removal hits an issue's liquidity immediately — regardless of whether anything changed in the issuer's credit quality.
