The company makes actuators and precision motion control systems for aircraft, satellites and defence equipment. The product is written into the system's certificate and the supplier does not change over a programme's life — hence revenue predictable across decades and recurring income from servicing the fleet.

The class distinction is practical rather than formal: the voting class is held by a limited circle and trades rarely, so the spread is wider and the price can drift noticeably from the more liquid one despite identical claims on profit and an identical payout. For an outside investor that is more often a drawback than an advantage. The risks are the same: defence budgets and other people's programme schedules.
