A price with a round ending where orders gather more often simply because people choose such numbers more readily.
How to read the number
The cluster grows out of the habit of naming prices in round figures, not out of anything happening in the issuer's business.
When the metric lies
The effect is weak and inconstant. In a rarely traded instrument it is indistinguishable from coincidence.
