Third-type investment account

A form of individual investment account combining a deduction on contributions with an exemption of the result, provided a minimum ownership period for the account is observed.

How to read the number

Its economics are decided by time: the relief is tied to duration, and closing the account early returns the deductions already received.

When the metric lies

The minimum period, the limits and the list of permitted operations are set by the tax code and change with the law, and accounts opened in different years are governed by different conditions. They have to be checked as of the opening date rather than from a general description.

Also known as: combined-benefit investment account
