A copy of the DAI stablecoin that ended up on PulseChain when that network forked away from Ethereum. The fork carried over balances in full, so the token has a history and holders — but neither the collateral nor the issuer of the original DAI stands behind it. It is a separate asset wearing a familiar name.
It cannot be redeemed with the issuer of the original DAI: the dollar peg here rests on market trading alone.
