Fear and greed

Market sentiment on a scale from 0 to 100

The fear and greed index compresses market sentiment into a single number from 0 to 100. Low readings mean participants are frightened and selling; high ones, that the market is running hot on buying. It is built from volatility, trading volume, bitcoin's share and price behaviour. The index describes what has already happened and says nothing about what comes next.
