About the coin
PEPE is an Ethereum meme token launched in 2023 and deliberately stripped of function: no product, no revenue, no treasury, no roadmap, all of which the team stated openly from the outset. The name nods to a frog character from internet culture whose original artist has no connection to the token.
The contract itself is plain — no transfer tax and no mechanism letting an owner rewrite the rules after launch — and the team said there had been no presale either. That plainness became part of its reputation against a field of meme tokens built the other way, and an early run of major listings gave it liquidity most such projects never reach.
Demand is purely attention: interest in the segment, social-media mentions, further listings. There is nothing to analyse in the usual sense — no reporting, no revenue, no treasury to follow from one quarter to the next.
There is no product and no treasury, and the team has never claimed otherwise: by design there is no floor for the price to return to.
