About the coin
Transparency of backing was TrueUSD's main argument when it appeared: funds are held in trust accounts and reserve information is published through third-party attestations. The token emerged as an alternative to Tether at a time when the composition of the latter's reserves was disputed, and it circulates across several networks. Ownership later changed hands, and the completeness of disclosure is now discussed apart from the brand's early history; the purpose stayed the same.
