About the coin
A person's right to control their own data is the idea behind the Japanese project Jasmy: internet-of-things devices write readings into a personal data locker, and the owner decides who may access them and on what terms. The company was founded by former Sony executives, and the locker and its data-exchange service are built as products for organisations rather than retail users. It is most visible in Japan, where the token trades on licensed venues. JASMY covers settlement inside the platform.
