About the coin
A privacy contour is being built alongside Cardano: Midnight is a smart contract network where application data stays hidden while the correctness of computation is proven with zero-knowledge proofs. The intent is to work with sensitive information without exposing it to the whole chain and while remaining verifiable. It is developed by the same company that built Cardano, so the two are linked both technically and organisationally. NIGHT serves the network. The category is privacy infrastructure rather than anonymous payments.
