About the coin
A tree-graph structure of blocks instead of a linear chain lets Conflux confirm blocks in parallel and raise throughput. The smart contract platform grew out of academic research and is notable for developing inside mainland China's legal framework, working with local organisations. The network runs both its own virtual machine and an Ethereum-compatible one, and an application can pay a user's transaction fees through a sponsorship contract. CFX pays fees and takes part in consensus.
