Data sources

TradeAlmanac does not produce market data and is not its primary source. Every quote, candle, reference record, financial statement and news item comes from the external sources listed below, is stored on the platform and is shown with the time of its snapshot. The data remains the property of its rights holders.

How to read this list

For every source we state what exactly we take from it and on what terms its data may appear on the platform. The link leads to the source's own terms, so they can be read without relying on our summary. Where a source publishes no terms, we apply the strictest mode available: the absence of a prohibition is not treated as permission.

Russian market

• MOEX ISS — quotes, daily and intraday candles, instrument reference data, bond parameters, dividends and corporate actions for the Russian market. Delay 15 minutes. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• Bank of Russia — official exchange rates, the key rate, press releases and regulator news. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• GIR BO (Russian Federal Tax Service) — statutory financial statements of legal entities under Russian accounting standards. What is allowed: display and quotation with attribution. terms
• Corporate Information Disclosure Centre — material facts, dividend decisions and IFRS statements. What is allowed: display and quotation with attribution. terms
• Issuer IR websites — press releases, board decisions and statements from the companies' own websites. What is allowed: display and quotation with attribution.
• Conomy — reported figures for Russian issuers, used as a secondary source. What is allowed: internal reconciliation only. terms
• T-Investments (open API) — issuer reference figures used as a secondary reconciliation source. What is allowed: internal reconciliation only. terms
• Moscow Exchange: free float — the free-float share of a company's stock. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• SKRIN disclosure — an archive of issuer disclosures, a fallback to the main disclosure centre. What is allowed: display and quotation with attribution. terms
• Dohod — a dividend calendar used as a secondary source, reconciled against disclosures. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms

• Yahoo Finance chart — daily candles and price history for US securities and global indices. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms

Cryptocurrencies

• CoinGecko — coin directory, market capitalisation, dominance and market ranks. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• DefiLlama — total value locked (TVL) of DeFi protocols, chains and the market as a whole. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• Coin Metrics Community — on-chain network metrics: active addresses, fees, supply, transactions, hash rate, issuance. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• Binance — trading-pair quotes and 24-hour turnover statistics. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• Bybit — trading-pair quotes where the pair is not listed on Binance. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• MEXC — daily candles for pairs not listed on Binance or Bybit. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms
• Gate — daily candles for pairs missing from the other exchanges in the cascade. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection. terms

News

• Public media feeds — headline, short summary and a link to the original — from more than 70 open channels: Moscow Exchange, Bank of Russia, Interfax, RBC, Vedomosti, Kommersant, TASS, RIA Novosti, Finam, Frank Media and specialist channels. What is allowed: display on the platform and export of your own selection.

Reference and software components

• Internet Archive — saved copies of disclosure pages when the original stopped responding; it supplies no new data. What is allowed: internal reconciliation only. terms
• DB-IP Lite — the reader's country, used to order global markets; never stored. What is allowed: display and quotation with attribution. terms

• The snapshot time is shown next to the price; a source's delay, where it has one, is named in the list above.
• US and global market data is end-of-day.
• Financial statements and dividends are updated as the primary sources publish them; the reporting period is shown next to the figure.
• A figure that is missing at the source is shown as a dash, never as zero.
