About the coin
Parallel transaction execution is the core idea of Monad: the platform keeps compatibility with the Ethereum virtual machine but is rewritten inside for speed, with consensus and execution separated in time. Compatibility means the same contract bytecode and the same developer tooling work unchanged, so an application moves over without a rewrite. MON pays fees and secures proof of stake. The project belongs to the wave of high-performance chains competing for developers with layer-two rollups.
