Dividend track record

The series of dividends a company has actually paid, by date and amount.

How to read the number

It shows behaviour rather than yield: regularity, the reaction to weak years, and how closely decisions followed the stated policy.

When the metric lies

Past payments create no duty to keep paying. A long, steady series ends by the same shareholder resolution that sustained it.
