RusGidro (HYDR)

A lot holds 1,000 securities, and less than one lot cannot be bought on the exchange. At 0.48 ₽ per security the smallest trade comes to about 475.20 ₽.

15.0 % of the issue is in free float. The rest belongs to controlling shareholders and the state and does not trade on the exchange — that share drives the security's liquidity and its weight in indices.

Over the last twelve months the price stayed between 0.24 ₽ and 0.48 ₽. The range shows how widely the security moved, but on its own it says nothing about whether it is expensive or cheap today: a growing company keeps setting new yearly highs.

The price rose 22.6 % over twelve months. That is the change in the quote alone, without dividends: a holder's total return was higher by the amount of any payouts.

Average daily turnover over the past month is 258,005,274.95 ₽. The higher it is, the calmer it is to enter and exit with a large amount: on a thinly traded security the order moves the price by itself, and the gap between the buying and the selling price eats part of the result.

The security trades on level 1 of the Moscow Exchange quotation list. The level reflects how strictly the issue meets requirements on disclosure, size and the issuer's track record.

The issue is available to any investor: qualified status is not required and no broker's test needs to be taken.

The issuer is RusGidro. It is the issuer that carries the obligations on the security, so its financial condition is what determines the risk of the investment.
