How the list is built

Selection rules, version 1

  1. The selection covers Moscow Exchange stocks with a daily turnover of at least RUB 1 million: without a floor the top places would go to stocks whose percentage is drawn by two trades.
  2. The change is the closing price of the latest trading day against the closing price of the trading day a year earlier.
  3. Only stocks that fell are listed. On a day when everything rose the list is shorter or empty.
  4. Dividends are not included in the price change: after the ex-dividend date a stock drops by the size of the payout.
