About the coin
Bitget Token serves the exchange of the same name: holding it brings trading-fee discounts, entry to new-project launch events and access to particular services of the venue, including the copy-trading product Bitget is known for. Its usefulness is spread across the whole product line — spot, derivatives, token launches — rather than tied to one service.
As with other exchange tokens, value here rests on the turnover and commercial decisions of a single company: the issuer has periodically shrunk supply by destroying tokens, and it defines which privileges the token confers. A burn that happened is visible on-chain; whether burning continues is the issuer's choice alone. Holders receive neither a share in the business nor a claim on its profits.
The token is a contract on Ethereum and also circulates on other networks, but it performs no blockchain function of its own. Its risk is correspondingly concentrated: an event at the venue hits the token directly.
The token grants neither a stake in the exchange's business nor a claim on its profits: it is a bundle of privileges the venue defines itself.
